Mrs. Sarah C, wife of JA McClure of this city, departed this life at her residence on last Tuesday morning. That common destroyer, consumption was the cause. Her age was 34 years and 22 days. She leaves a large number of friends and acquaintances to mourn her loss.
Assume this is her Jacob A. McClure married Sarah C. Snyder 12-27-1855 but she seems awfully young if her but no other J A anything marrying a Sarah - she could however be a second wife and another name (not really another Sarah though) at marriage but imagine this is her
There is a Sarah C. McClure 1837-1871 buried Wesley Cemetery & Jacob Alexander matches her stone -- Jacob 18 Dec 1833 - 4 Oct 1914
